from yesterday, already worked like HELL... my working buddy still having his exam so i worked myself... i forgot eat my lunch also... work till 6.30, and for today, i worked till 8.00 while waiting rain to stop and to avoid trafic jam..

today my working trip were nicely planned, first to a site near OUG, as to setup their comp network... bloody hell, my just waxed car parked at the roadside, when i come back, it stained with muds when those bloody trucks come out from the site... then go lowyat, to buy the network equipment for the site, and other stuffs too.. next, to the office... while on the way near lowyat, i saw a signboard next to SMART office... see this:

wat kind of road is this?? u can only see this kind of road in malaysia...

well, juz ended today's work, and 2moro's work will be continued, shortly (10 more hours left)...

h@cking WiFi

when i first shifted to desa palma, we felt bored without Internet, like quarantined, can’t get contact with friends, and information.

By then, we asked for streamyx, we applied it. After applied, we only knew that the port was full, no more port for us, they added us to their waiting list. We straight away asked him, how long? He can’t confirm for us, and may took months! Holy crap! How to live without internet??

I then think of stealing people’s wifi. We searched for wifi networks, lots of network! But all locked with password… Desa Palma resident are damn clever… Then, I went to the library with my laptop, spending the whole afternoon searching the information to hack WiFi on the net. I found that there is a type of old network encryption, known as WEP, is very weak and can easily cracked. There’s some tools needed for the crack. Here’s my ingredients:

1x laptop with WiFi
1x Ubuntu live CD (linux OS)
1x aircrack-ng cracking tool
1x brain and some command skills

Ok, here’s how it works. The computer is talking to the wireless access point with encrypted data. We try to listen what’s they are talking over the air, and collect a large amount of packet’s Initialization Vector (their words). After collecting all these packets, we need to use the aircrack tool to calculate the encrypting password. Understood? If you don’t, check here:

This cracking needs linux, bcoz windows is not supported, their driver is not open sourced so that we can’t do any packet injection. I booted up the ubuntu live cd, it’s damn slow, as it keeps reading files from CDrom. So, I installed it into my hard disk. Ok, ubuntu running smoothly, time for crack. I searched the network around.

The red underlined are my target. I tried to ‘listen’ all the WEP networks, and see how many clients are connected with the network and the network quality (means closer to me, so i can listen clearly). As if there is no client, there is no ‘sound’ that we can listen to.

I’ve tried to search for around 3 days, as many of the network I tested keeps disconnected, and I tried to give up. But the 3rd day, I found that a network, named ba*****, have a client connect to the network, and the signal is pretty good. I’m so excited, but I have to collect over millions of packets, that’s need a long time, luckily, I found that there is a method to burst the packet quantity, it’s called packet injecting. It’s work in this way, when the wireless access point sends the data to the computer, I add-in some command to it, to tell the access point that the computer can’t heard properly, and ask to resend the data. By doing this repeatedly, I can collect a great amount of IV.

In minutes, i have reach the goal, it is enough to be processed and calculate. The calculator tried to brute force the encryption to match these IV, and in minutes time, calculated the encryption password.

Wow! I see the sunshine again. I quickly turn back to Windows, connect the network with the password just cracked, it works! I have internet access right now. All our room mates are so happy, although the signal is not stable, will often disconnect.

I can easily login to the router page with default password, and look for the owner’s streamyx username password. Using his streamyx username password, i could login to Tmnet bill online, login with the username, and view his bill. Yes, we found that he is staying the opposite block of our unit. And we checked, its package is RM88, which is 1Mbps package. There is a lot of info can be done, just by cracking the wireless network. Pretty danger huh? So, if you haven’t lock your network with the stronger WPA2 encryption, change it now, or your information could easily leak out.

And…. Lol…. when we was eating McDonald’s the next week, the streamyx guy called us, and will install streamyx 1 hour later. Wow..So fast? We thought months!

Touch N Go bug at Maybank ATM Desa Park City

last saturday, we went to Maybank at Desa Park City to deposit cheque and to reload Touch N Go...

when my friend tried to place the 'touch n go' at the ATM panel, it prompt to input PIN, its weird, then suddenly....

familiar with this screen? haha! yes! it’s really a Windows shut down screen! Luckily my friend got back his card before it shuts down.

After a while, it came to POST screen. Guess what? This ATM runs on Pentium 4 processor with a speed of 2.8GHz, 512MB of DDR 266 RAM, Seagate 80GB Hard disk and a LG CD-ROM drive.

It took quite a long time to came to the XP loading screen, before that I saw that it was doing some diagnostic test. Yes, as an ATM machine, security and diagnostic are really important, device failure could lead to money loss (i think), think that someone withdraw money and the machine failed to tell the server that he had withdrew? (oh..that man damn lucky..)

Here comes the XP loading screen, it’s running on windows XP professional, some people on the net said that some Maybank ATM runs on LINUX, Windows 2000, and even windows ME. The reason that they are not running on Embedded windows is because it lacks of user interface. Ehhm… using XP?? but XP is gonna discontinued, maybe the future ATM is going to install Vista? or Windows 7? Who knows!

orientation night @ inti

hmm... there's quite a long time I didn't post anything for the past few weeks... mainly due to assignments and exams

INTI-UC Orientation Night - 24/6/09
I've just back from INTI's orientation night, two out of 12 of the INTIans to be chosen as Mr and Miss INTI.. wow! i never had this kind of night before, and finally watched the real CATWALK! I voted for F6 and M6, but the results, neither are miss inti nor mr inti. Everyone gets high when it comes to role playing, the galz were so HOT when they having in costume of Policewoman, nurse, magician and others. The nurse was so sexy and seducing, everyone gets high when she came out... All the contestant are quite lenglui & lengzai actually, but some of the contestant makes me disappointed when they came to talent show especially the guys. Hey guys?! Where are all your talent? Is that just only simply dancing? More worst, one of them told us that he has no talent at all, and showed some skills, and this is the end of their talent show. How come? The performance between the show was also quite dissapointing, but some of the show I really quite like it, like the Impact band and Baby Force Dance. My friend, Ken is so excited when she saw Yvonne dancing (he admire Yvonne all the time!!), eyes keep sticking on her, said that she's hot! Ken, you are really gone crazy for her...



The interesting part is when i get the INTI bag when entering the hall, I found sarsi, 2 packs of tissues, sweets, and CONDOM that comes with a "safer sex" booklet by Durex!! It teaches us about the safety measure when having sex, and FAQs in the booklet... But.. do i really need it now?? Lol... hmm...keep it for future use, but use it before it expires which is June 2010..







after the show, it was already 11.30pm.. we haven't eat our dinner before the show...all the restaurant closed, and the final choice, mamak al-salam. we ordered ikan pari bakar and sotong, plus nasi lemak, and this is the most expensive spending at al-salam i ever had, RM15!! But it is quite valuable, coz it makes me damn full!

the poor wira...

after using it for around 3 months, I decided to give him a post for memorial (huh? he's still alive!!)... because my new car is arriving soon! and he will be returned to my boss... this car was borrowed for working purpose...

When we first get this car, he gave us a lots of joy... When i start the engine for the first time, engine rev is around 0k rpm, the car was shaky, the whole dashboard started to shake..it was a manual transmission, for me, i have long time didn't drive a manual car, when i need to reverse it, i have forgotten the clutch and straight away just shift to reverse, the car suddenly gone dead... the fuel was empty, we decided to gave him food. when we reach the petrol station, after we've paid, i paused when i wanted to lift the nozzle, i didn't know that he likes diesel or petrol, anyway, i suddenly saw the sticker showed that it likes petrol at the fuel cover... at the road, i always make the engine dead when came to a junction, for the first day, I've make it dead for more than 10 times! the right side mirror was not a concaved mirror, therefore, the is a large area of dead spot, it was very dangerous, i need to turn around my head to the right every time i need to cut to the right...the window at the back, once opened, considered spoil, my friend turn down the window, and the window can't get up anymore, the mechanic use a steel wire to tie it up, and the window cannot be turn down anymore... the most interesting part is, the door lock can't be pulled out once you lock it, and we can't find a button to unlock the door, we were stuck inside the car, and keep finding where's the button to unlock, and finally found that there is a red button underneath the steering, used to unlock the doors...this car doesn't have a reverse sensor, i always ask my friend to drop off to watch the approximity... the radio is so old, only cassete.. we cannot play cd, just only radio..there is only 2 speakers located at the back, no speaker in the front, the speaker worked perfectly in moderate volume. When we heard the DJ started to play Boom Boom Pow, we turn up the volume, the speaker, however, gave us PSOOM PSOOM POEOW, the cracked sound...

The dashboard is so old, it cracked to many pieces, caused by bumpers everywhere and shaky engine... Here's some pic of the dashboard...

MU lost~

This is the first time I watch football at this late night with friends, 3am!

We gone to the nearby mamak to watch the EUFA near Desa Palma... Those nearby mamaks with TV were so crowded, the pathway to Bistro Al-Salam also blocked by cars...

At that time, wind blows, and then, it rains... The whole outdoor crowd suddenly rushed inside, and ASTRO starting to showing up "Service currently not available", the crowd BOOOoo..and shouted, and when the signal came back, they applause... this scene could be found in malaysia only... (i think)

Luckily, the match haven't begun when it was raining, we got back strong signal when the match started, otherwise the crowd will...

This final match was happening in Rome, Barcelona vs Manchester United. At the end, Barcelona have won the trophy, the team managed to score 2 goals, while MU didn't score any. (God...I came here to watch MU win and what now??)

OK, I've watched till 5am, and slept till the next day's 1pm, and goodness, I've missed my Calculus!! Sorry Nathan ;p ...

Sleep at 5am is a really crazy thing for watching football, and I got sick now..

monday, my nightmare

Just back from classroom, attended 10hrs of lecture, exhausted... the whole INTI, just left our class still remain inside the campus. Night at INTI was quiet, I could hear sound of crickets and insects, what a lovely night, I like this kind of studying environment...

OK, let's talk about my 'Monday the terrible', class starts at 8am, which is my English compo class, have a break from 10am-12pm, then continue with chemistry, Malaysian studies, psychology, and the calculus extra class. From 12pm till 8pm nonstop, all the classes are tightly packed together, not even a sec for me to take a breathe...


Last Saturday, just hang out with my form6 friends, they planned to go midvalley for the movie 'Night At The Museum 2', the movie started at 2pm, but I drove in the wrong way (caused by misunderstanding my GPS) and stuck in traffic jam, that time was 2.15pm, and reached there at around 2.40, and just watched the half end of the movie.. And yes, the movie was great, although I missed the front part of the movie.. at night, we went to my friend's (Hoong Yi) house, to have a BBQ dinner, it was really enjoying, with my friends, Hoong Yi and Jun Jee using their state of the art cooking skill, made us delicious grilled chicken wing and fish...(guys, sorry for not helping much for the grilling job..but helped u to eat..haha).. that day, i also met Shu Hua, my form 2 classmate, has became a primary school teacher, and after knowing that she beat her student with cane, I really shocked as she didn't look like a person who will cane people, haha, maybe this is a characteristics of a teacher...

my first (ever) blog post!

OMG! I was forced to open this blog for not losing my 20% project marks! Hehe..

No la, actually I was thinking of opening a blog for a long time already, because many friends of mine have their own blog, when I browse through their blog, I think of writing a blog could share personal happiness and feelings with other people. Yes, it really do! I didn't open blog because of several reasons...

1. No time to write (what a good lame excuse...)
2. No time to manage
3. Didn't feel have anything to write when in front of computer (although I have many things happened to me everyday!)

But for today, ENL101 has forced me to write my FIRST PERSONAL BLOG in my life! Luckily I have chance to create a blog and try it out TODAY, if not, I think I won't start blogging for years..(or even centuries!). Big thanks to ENL101 and Ms. Hatikahaty for giving me this great chance to express my personal life and at the same time, improve my english (yea, I will try to write in GOOD english~)!
